superGel Template Released - 2006/12/23 02:35
We take great pride in releasing the superGel template. This template is W3C validated and is a superb design. It consists of a gel menu and a gel module box. This template is complete in terms of Joomla! 1.0.11 css.
What's better, the template is also Joomla 1.5 compatible under the legacy mode.
1.0.11 usage is standard, if you still have questions, please use the appropriate forum.

1. Installation

- Using Joomla! 1.0.x
Go to "Installers" > "Templates - Site".
Hit Browse, search for superGel.zip and click open.
Click "Upload File & Install" and you are done.
Next, from the top menu, "Site" > "Template Manager" > "Site Templates".
Choose the superGel radio button and click "Default" to use the superGel template.
- Using Joomla! 1.5.0+
Make sure that in "Site" > "Configuration" > "Server", the Legacy mode is enabled under "Server Settings".
Then go, "Extensions" > "Install/Uninstall".
Hit Browse, search for superGel.zip and click open.
Click "Upload File & Install" and you are done. Go to, "Extensions" > "Template Manager".
Choose the superGel radio button and click "Default" to use the superGel template.

2. Menu styling in Joomla! 1.5.0+

To make use of the preferred superGel menu styling in Joomla! 1.5.0+,
please change the settings for each of your menu modules ("Extensions" > "Module Manager")
from a menu syle of "List" to a style of "Vertical".

3. Changing the footer links and copyright text

Open the "index.php" file and edit the code found after each of the marker sections (below)
for the bottom links and copyright text.
Look for:

Tip: use "ctrl+f" to find the above sections at the bottom of the "index.php" file.

4. Header Logo

Please edit the "slogan_blank.jpg" image file to show your desired logo.
Rename the file to "slogan.jpg" and over-write the old demo "slogan.jpg" file.
